Heijmans One is starting a project; Are you the one? They are looking for a person who wants to live three months for free in an classy, new and moveable house on an unique spot in Amsterdam. The first house is done and now they need an ambassador who wants to live there and communicate the tips and tops. The One is an house for only one person and is eco-friendly. His positives points are: space, sustainable materials and not static. It is meant for people between the 25 and 35 years old that are not afraid of a challenge.
Is this the new way of mentality switch we meant in the trendreden 2014? People need to let go of only thinking of money but we have to think like individuals with talents. We can trade knowledge without money has to be involved. We can use each other for trading our knowledge and time. And this is a great example of that mentality switch.
Why do we need this menatlity switch?
Negative beliefs and attitudes become self-fulfilling prophesies because when you give into them, you make them come true. You will see everything in a negative light, missing out on opportunities (or not being willing to take advantage of them) and focusing on the bad. Youāre perpetually on the look-out for the next shoe to drop or the next thing to go completely wrong. After a while, you become bitter and resentful of everything. It starts to feel like the universe itself conspires against you. And let me tell you, when youāre walking around with a chip on your shoulder and a little black rain cloud following you, youāre going to chase off people who might well have been attracted to you. And when you do, it becomes further evidence that these beliefs are correct and justified, thus reinforcing them and perpetuating the ugly cycle.
We need to admit that we need each other and with all the bad news on the news we donāt have to be negative all the time. We need to get ourself together and support more of these innovations and get the knowledge to the share space.
